What is the interview like?
Upon arrival at the UCSF Fresno campus (155 N. Fresno St, Fresno, CA 93701), all applicants will check in, be provided with a name badge, and then be directed to the group interview room. You will be interviewing with other students from different schools at the same time. Applicants will be interviewed by a panel of 3–5 interviewers.
What should I wear?
Applicants should have a neat and clean appearance. Professional dress is encouraged but not required.
Can my parents attend my interview?
No. Due to limited interview space, parents are asked to wait outside or in their car until their student has finished the interview.
Can I reschedule my interview?
No. Interview dates and times are assigned due to the limited availability of interviewers. If you have questions, please contact the program coordinator at [email protected].
What questions will I be asked?
ll interview questions will be the same for every applicant.
The interview will begin with a brief introduction to the program and followed by several questions allowing the interviewers to learn more about you. Applicants will be evaluated based on their responses. Keep in mind that you will be in a group setting with other students; it is important that you are clear and conscious of time. Be prepared to discuss your academic achievements and your interest in participating in the program.
How long will my interview be?
All students should check into the lobby waiting area 10 minutes prior to their scheduled interview time. The group interview will last approximately 40–45 minutes. Please allow up to one hour for the entire interview process.
When will I know if I have been accepted into the program?
After interviews are completed and the selection committee has finalized decisions, notifications of conditional acceptance will be sent 1–2 weeks after the interview process.
